We’re a family of six — two parents and four kids — who decided not to wait for “someday.” Instead of saving the best of life for later, we travel Japan slowly: long loops across whole regions, sleeping in our self-built campervan, stopping wherever something looks worth it.

We’re not a tour company or a guidebook. We just go, often for weeks at a time, and write down what actually worked — the hidden regions, the quiet onsen, the roads worth the detour, and the honest mistakes. If you want the Japan that lies past the Golden Route, this is where we keep our notes.
